In February 2008, Golden Gate Business has successfully completed the sale of the control stake in Novgorod Siversky Construction Plant of Building Materials. The major asset of the plant is the chalk quarry which is one of the biggest deposits of raw material for cement production in former Soviet Union.

The sale of the company was handled trough a competitive process which took 6 months from start to closing and has allowed maximizing the value for the sellers. Golden Gate Business has acted as sole financial advisor to the sellers.
